About Us

Since 1969, the Bonanno Family has been fishing in Bristol Bay, making a living off harvesting Sockeye Salmon. From the beginning, they have brought home a few fillets in the form of a “home pack,” curing it and smoking it. They would then share that “home pack,” first with their family, then with their friends, then with that other guy named Jim who always asked for a few fillets. Eventually, bringing home 10 fillets turned into 20 fillets, 20 turned into 40, 40 turned into 80, 80 into 160.
